Roc? I was just looking at the pics again and realized there's something I'm concerned about. I hope you aren't offended by my saying this "in public"" but in Mary's pics....there's one where she appears to be going into a tub with cat litter in it?? If that's the case, I'd like to note that particles such as cat litter are considered dangerous. It is easily ingested and could cause serious problems in the digestive tract.
Aside from that...those igs are gorgeous! I love black stripes like Bailey has!

Fear not, Tesa, that was a one and only occurance. She had gone in to see if she could steal some dry cat food, and I surprised her when I walked in... and she tried to climb away via the cat box. Also, don't worry about the cat food issue, we always know where she is and move the bowl when she goes in that room. We do let her have a nibble or two every now and then, but nothing in quantity and not regularly.

Mary will only drink from a bowl if she can't convince a human to hand water her. She prefers a cup, but will also drink from a sports bottle. I guess we've spoiled her already. --Roc

Tesa:
I have a friend who lost a very beloved kitty because water got spilled next to the cat box which was filled with clumping litters... so I am very aware of litter box dangers. Thanks for your concern, and for the thoughtful wording. I should have posted more comments with those pictures.

LOL Roc-
We are a bunch of Ig zealots out to right the wrongs, punish the offenders; protecting Igs and owners at all costs!
We are THE IGUANA POLICE!!! ;D
Rex used to try to eat the dogs food everyday. I wonder why they prefer that over nice fresh greens? Silly Igs.

Rex used to try to eat the dogs food everyday. I wonder why they prefer that over nice fresh greens? Silly Igs. Mary will spend 15 minutes stuffing herself with proper ig food then march right down the hall and into the room with the cat food for a bite of dessert. Luckily, our cat is such a pig himself that there is very rarely any dry food left in the bowl - and Mary won't touch canned cat food. We have a great video of Mary standing on top of the cat bowl and the cat trying to eat around her. It's just hysterical.
