I would love to post some new pics of Bob outside and his cage but don't have a camera (digital or film).
Does anyone have suggestions about a digital camera that takes reasonable pics without costing too much? Other than a web cam because I don't want to carry my laptop and Bob at once -- but I may run a webcam from Bob's cage over the summer, aah broadband.
thanks Mark

If I'm not mistaken, Kodak makes a disposable digi now. I'm sure that just means that the cost of the cam includes your pics on CD or something... but it may be a temporary fix.

I asked Walmart about those a couple of months ago Steph, and would you believe they didn't carry them?! I need to check again.... they do however have a station where you can scan your regular pics and have them sent to their PC to be put on a CD.

I think even the regular throw away cameras can be put on CD or Disk for a computer...I would look into that...those things take pretty good pics....Lyn

Hi Mark-
I just got a Nikon Coolpix 775 Digital camera given to me. It takes 2.1 megapixel shots and has one touch upload to the Nikonet sites, which makes net sharing very convenient.
Just thought I'd let you know.

Try a Minolta Dimage Z2. I have an "old" Dimage 5, and I like it.

Olympus cams all use glass lenses unlike the others that use plastic lenses... this translates to less distortion. BUT a capable photographer translates to less distortion too. ;D Lucky Dom... I wish someone would HAVE to give me a new digi cam!

i'm a big fan of olympus and nikon (have 2 digicams; gave one away). sony makes some of their cameras with the zeiss lense (very nice!) i chose to upgrade to a nikon rather than olympus, because given the fixed lense, the nikon had retained its colors more richly and its macro capability is really good! the next camera, if i ever find time to shoot again, will be a digital SLR ...most likely nikon or olympus Great digital cam resource: www.imaging-resource.com/These are pics I took with my Nikon CP 995 www.herpvetconnection.com/images/babypts.jpg (3 day old PTS) www.herpvetconnection.com/images/greektort.jpg (lil greek tort)
