Well, we're in the same boat too. A 1.5 year old Iguana is on the loose. Not sure if he's outside or in but there's been little sign of him.
One thing we've noticed. We have a single rose bush, amognst more than a dozen that seems to be being eaten. Any ideas? When's the best time to try and "Catch" him?
I feel for the lady that started this thread. This completely sucks.

You could try to "bait" him with a strategically placed dish of his favorite foods. Also try to look for him very early in the morning when it it still cool/cold out and he is looking for a place to bask and warm up. The other posts on this thread should give you a lot of ideas on how to try to find him if he is still inside.
Good luck, I hope you find him, keep us posted!! ;D

No, It's Day 23. I doubt they'll be any return. my latest news is a friend of a friend has an iguana who has MBD I dont even have to see him, I already know he does. Because of my experiences with lewis, I have offered to take that iguana in. I know I can offer him the utmost care and send him to a great home. There is an iguana out there right now depending on me to help him, and I am going to. Call me "foster Mom" . . . As for Lewis, I'll tell you I dream about him EVERY NIGHT. I did last night and I probably will again tonight. Unbelieveable, never, ever I've I become so preoccupied, everyone I work with, my friends and neighbors and family know I lost Lewis. It's all I talk about about. In the meantime I hope to save this adopted iguana's life. I have decided to pay any vet bills out of my pocket and care for him on my own until I can find a proper home. Wish me luck!
