usually dont try to run. She has ran under the deck one time when i had her out in the yard and the dog spooked her. The only way i have found to potty train is to take outside once a day. She goes after seconds of going outdoors. The whole bathtub thing didnt work to well for her. I also think i have the only iggy in the world that dont like water. She seems to not be able to stand it.

VERY awesome pictures. I always worry, too, when I see an ig unrestrained. I've heard it a dozen times that "She/he has always been fine outside without a leash, but she/he got spooked and now it's gone". There are some though that really will be fine. You just have to know the nature of the beast, so to speak. I cannot trust Zair. He will head for the nearest tree... .

Great pictures, Josh! I agree that a leash is usually a good thing, but sometimes you end up with a unique iggy that doesn't need one. When Audrey gets scared by anything, she runs right to daddy. ;D
Do you live on or off-base at Ellsworth?

I have tried to leash her and that was a mistake. I only let her go outside like that uncaged if i am right there next to her. Jessie does not spook very easy, and cannot stand the leash one bit. I do have her a sunning cage for the porch. I dont just leave her out there by herself except when she is in her sun cage. I live on base here at Ellsworth.

I agree on the leash thing, but I have another question, does it get cold in winter over by you? how do you take her outside if it is cold out?

maryah - this post was started in June of last year. It was just brought back from the dead when asked about the dog. It does tend to make things a little confusing, but if you look under the title of the post you will see when it was started.
Anything under 70 should not be considered...;-)
