I just notices Dino started showing what appears to be hemipenal bulges. What do you all think? Is he a boy? Sorry for the fairly large pictures but I wanted to make them as small as possible but still be easy to see the details. Here is one of his femoral pores. It not as close as I would like to get but it is the best my camera will do. Let me know your opinions. I think he is right around a year old. He is a big teddy bear. I mean he is super friendly, to me at least, he is a little skidish around others. He used to bite a little but that all stopped some time ago. He basks most of the day but every night before he goes to bed he seems to be wired and runs around his enclosure jumping from shelves to the doors that are covered in rubber coated hardware cloth. He rarely poops in his cage but when he does its pretty much only in his water. I think he has only not hit the water 2 or 3 times. in the 7 or so months I've had him in this enclosure. Let me know what you think he is.

He is looking pretty boyish to me. The angle on the tail shows what could be a bulge, but also the "seam" down the center of the tail on the pore picture. The pores are still pretty hard to go by, but they definitely have potential. My vote is boy!

I second the vote for male. That's exactly how Sancho looked a few months before breading season last year! He's a real cutie that Dino!

I will try to remember to update the pics in a few months but I think he is a boy too. It is kind of funny because I have always referred to Dino as a he, but I really always thought that he was a girl until i noticed these bulges. Not really sure why I thought girl, but I did.
Thanks!!
