he's been digging at his cage and free roaming more than usual, and being totally hatefull towards my husband. so I guess its time?

Go for it. I've used a green sock filled with rice...and a stuffed iguana. He attacked them as a rival male instead of making that love connection...O.o

Its funny, Sancho does that too. He goes into "KILL ALL TRESPASSERS" mode and will still mate with it later. lol Man, I'd hate to be on the receiving end of that! One of these days I'm going to get a video of it and post it for all to see. I thought dogs only tore things around like that! lol I really gotta get a video so you all can see...

What happens if you have a male and he never has developed the wax plugs in the pores.
As a matter of fact his pores are realy hard to see in the first place and he is 6.

Could this possibly be from hanging on that darn lamp for the first 5 years of his life?

That's what I'm wondering. Are you sure it's a male? Even if there's no wax...which can happen...the pores are still pretty large.

I have alway's wondered tha!! When we got him, the one time that my sister in law took him to the vet to have his nails trimmed,is when they were told that it was a he. Through all the pictures that I have seen, it has alway's looke like a SHE to me, but hey what did I know, nothing.... Something else that made me think that it was indeed a male is that, I was told that he was obtained in october of 2001 and he was no bigger than their hand, which told me that he was hatchling, so fabel say's, take date of hatching, up to 18 months and you have breeding season for him. And I took him in, in January and come the first part of April, he was going balistic in his cage. Totaly tearing around, scrapping skin off his nose, knockin stuff around, but only if I approached the cage. Me, no one else. I don;'t know guy's, I will just have to get a better picture of him, close up and the only time that I can get a picture of the pores is when he is climbing the front of the cage.
Since I have had him, I have only had hands on once, and it was not good. But if I can get good pictures of him and you guy's still telll me that you think it is a female, then I will corale her and take her to the vet [everybody look out].

Now when I look you can see the pores, all along the leg, which I thought was domenant for the male. In the pictures that I have seen of the females, you can only see these in the VERY top half, and I think I can see more than that, again not sure.

Ok so will just wait for a good chance to get a picture and send it your way, we'll go from there!!

I checked out your picture and He looks like a she to me. The jowls look female and I dont see any brain bumps also I couldnt see any hemipene bulges. just my opinion.

You know what? I do believe jfogle has it right. This is a very girlie looking ig. The facial features are decidedly fem. Take a look at the pictures in the "Jowls" and "Brain Bumps" posts and check out the comparison pictures there.
