Do femoral pores develop based on age or size of your iguana? I've heard both(1.5-2years or 10"+SVL) reading the post on pores it says age but I'm asking just to be sure because my iguana used to get into the catfood alot and has grown at a freakish speed, less than a year old he's 11.5"SVL and just over 3 feet total(his sister who stayed away from cat food is 7"SVL) and his pores appear to be female.
So is it too early to tell yet because of his young age or do you think his femoral pores developed earlier because of his rapid growth rate and he is a girl?

You're kind of right on both counts, but one reference is based on males and the other females. For males it depends on sexual maturity which is based on your age reference given. Females can become gravid at 10" svl.
