;D I have 2 green uggies and 3 other iggies (italian greyhounds) Guy and Gidget have gotten along real well. Gidget, 5, had a mate, Bobo 6, that got loose over a year ago and took him for dead due to the winter but alas he was found starving but alive we fed him and cared for him but alas died from poisoning while out in the wild . then about 2 monthes ago even though we were broke and have trouble feeding ourselves due to the diet we feed them we took in Guy a male about 2 or 3 years old. Gidget was the "Boss" with Bobo but Guy is the boss with Gidget's approval. They are both happy and in love too (Gidget is not able to reproduce). Our roommate got a baby,Serindipity, only a few monthes old that was about 5 inches long n2t (nose to tail) now s/he is 1.5' n2t.Our iggy diet is mostly(feel free to use it they love it):
Alphalpha - cubes soaked in water to break them up
Mustard greens - cut or torn into strips
Collard greens - done like the Mustard
butternut squash - cut into small cubes or strips
mix together in a big closable bowl, 6 cup or larger tubberware, and you'll have chow for a week or more (varies on how much you make and how much they eat.)
For colour use 1 or 2 fruits not all
a couple of strawberries - cut in 4 to 8 pieces each
Grapes - seedless Whole
Banana - about 1/3 to 1/2 sliced
iguana pellets - sprinkled on top for their vitamins
Calcium additive - weekly for strong bones
monthly cost : between $50 and $100
the greens must be bought and used within 3 days or you'll be buying more due to them going bad.
Here's a pic of the lovebirds click or copy/paste to see
