Just thought I'd drop a note, say hi, and introduce myself. Some of you know me from other forums. My first iguana was aquired back in the dark ages of the 70s when we were told to feed dog food and monkey biscuits etc,...yuck! Despite everything I did wrong she lived for 10 years.
I am currently owned by a 3yr old female iguana named Zok (who rules the household) as well as several other scaly family members.
Looking forward to getting to know the rest of you.

Hello my friend. Welcome to The Iguana Zone. We're sure glad you joined.
Your kindness and knowledge are very welcome here and I hope to see you participating in some of our discussions.
Tesa and Veronica just recently discovered that "Sweet Potatoes" should NOT be used as a staple veggie, but instead should be an "occasional veggie" due to extremely high Potassium level. Interesting stuff. Check out the thread.
And be sure to check out the IZ Family Movie that James created for us. It's great.
Well, I look forward to many posts from you.
Hope you enjoy it here!

Hi and thanks for the welcome guys (and girls). This place looks right up my alley! quote Tesa and Veronica just recently discovered that "Sweet Potatoes" should NOT be used as a staple veggie, but instead should be an "occasional veggie" due to extremely high Potassium level. Just joined and learned something new already!
