Hi Denise I was the same way! I never really considered lizards for pets until I accidentally rescued mine! Surprised me too! Next thing I know I'm in love with her and have 2 other types of lizards in my house as well. ;D Welcome to Iguana-Zone

Welcome, Denise. I agree... I find myself more in love with almost all animals now that I have Gil. I have a deeper understanding of how much they really do depend on us for their well being.
Glad you're here.

Welcome NeeNee
We grow to depend on pets just as much as they depend on us. Bob is about the only thing that kept me from going nuts over the last 20 days. By taking him outside he becomes so happy and calm and has so much fun roaming but it also gives me a about an hour per day where I am not working. He almost provided enough of a break for me from my finals and such, even so I worked more than 14 hours a day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week.

Glad to see you decided to join Patrick. It's always nice when it becomes a family affair... About the caring for these guys as best we can...Here's something I put on our personal photo album in April 2003: This holds very true for Zair. He is my first love as far as exotics go. I love nearly equally the macaw and African grey, but he was my first candle and got the fire burning. He is the one who gives me cause to educate...he is the one I take such pride in. Nah...I'm not hooked...lol.
