Our first Iguana (Ichabod) was bought from a guy that did not want him anymore. His growth was stunted from poor diet and light and a cage smaller the he was. He was showing signs of MBD. We thought he would live maybe 6 months. Now 6 years later he is smaller then he should be and his front paw is not nomal. But he is very healthy. He is a very nice iguana . He hisses when he is mad but other then that he can be around strangers and be held by kids with no problems . Evil our 2nd Iguana was bought 2 years ago because Ichabod would never be full size and I wanted a BIG guy. he is now the dominant Iguana even though Ichabod is bigger. Evil has the cool little horns on his nose. He hates being anywhere out of his domain (the habitat) and refuses to sit in the window or go outside. He is great when i hold him but if I put him down he takes off running. Well that takes care of a few of them. ;D More later.

ahhh so Evil's name suits him well. ;D My girl ( 5 yrs old) is stunted for the same reasons Ichabod is, but she has more than doubled her size during the 15 months Ive had her, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will become a monster.

Zair's been stunted also. He will never be the big boy he had the potential of at one time. At only 15" svl and 6 yrs old...he may reach 5' full size. (Unless I have to have part of his tail amputated again... Vet visit tomorrow with the African grey.)
