and actually now that i was just thinking about it, i did move the water bowl since i had to separate them, when they were together he went in the dish, and now that they are apart and he has his own space and new environment, and when they were together he stopped and now that they're seperated he started this habit again mmmmmm

He always likes laying underneath his green cloth ground he'll dig up the sides and crawl under there yesterday he stayed under there all day last time he did it I moved him out but this time I let him be because I figured he's doing it for a reason maybe trying to stay want because like I said my house is cold but I don't understand why he wouldn't just bask like lilly does

Zair LOVES soaking. He will sometimes lay in the bathtub for 8 hours while I rewarmed the tub water, but sometimes the water got pretty cool before I realized he was still in there. He also has the ability to climb out on his own if he so chooses. Just because he lays IN the water to not mean this equals hydration. Hydration is internal fluid intake - humidity is external. Igs do not absorb water through their skin. I would suggest getting a water proof heat source that provides enough heat so that the water is not freezing. If you can set up an aquarium heater that you can secure well behind maybe a plastic or metal safety barrier (even if you need to modify something) this would keep him from getting too cold. Since you have just moved him he may be just feeling the stress of the new digs. Supply some sort of visual barrier in front of the basking area perhaps. For Zair at one time and in his old enclosure I placed fake vines and weaved it into the plastic mesh on the doors like this: Sometimes just a little added secrecy is just what they need.

ah yeah, yeah im only keeping them in these all around glass tanks right now until their new terrarium is done and these tanks leave NOTHING to the imagination, plus they can see their reflection also, so lilly with like paw at herself in the glass, so i hope with a little more room to climb around and do whatever, they will feel more at home
