one of the claws on his toes he managed to break off, I don't know how to stop the bleeding , will it stop on its own, is there something I can put on it and will it grow back?   |

I hope you got the bleeding stopped. You should always keep stypic powder on hand or cornstarch to stop bleeding in the toes. Just dip the toe in the powder. It may or may not grow back, its really hard to tell.

my baby iguana tore off one of his/her toenails pretty soon after I got her. I have no idea how it happened, but it started growing back almost as soon as it was torn off. There was no bleeding that I can recall, however. I also didn't see it happen. It has grown back almost completely now, after about 3 months. Good luck!!  |
