Respiratory infection definitely, I just went through this just last month with Iggy. It got so bad that she was coughing blood. Get him to the vet if you haven't already because it can get nasty fast.

Ok I don't know what this vet is thinking but she is leaning toward some medobolic issue... Does that sound right to you? Anyway the conditions were right for resperitory infection so that's what I'm thinking... We're realy only here because my girlfriend calls the vet every time he takes a breath.................. Realy annoying but we have antibiotics already.... So I think when the medication takes effect she'll be fine... Anything you guys wanna throw in here?

By metabolic issue are you talking about MBD? I have never heard of the behavior we are seeing on the video being associated with MBD. It does look more like a respiratory problem.

not MDB... I really don't know what she was trying to say. But the final diagnosis is high phosphorus and pin worms from tests but it is possible that the main problem was repertory. We got her on meds for all of it, and she is looking a lot better.

Hi, I just watched your video and it looks like your iguana is acting just like Tiamat was about 2 years ago..!
We took her to the vet and he prescribed baytril to dose her daily and also reccommended soaking her in warm baths every night. We used the entire bottle he gave us and another one later when it came back and bathed her as well and it went away and I've never seen her do this since.
Good Luck! Hope he gets better!
