Hi IZ'an, I almost feeding iggy using mustard (once/daily for 4 days),carrot (once/daily for 2 days) and slice of apple (once/day for 1 day). Is it OK? Yesterday i went to pet house and the owner recommend me to use microcalcium. Is it really recommend to use this? Attachments:

The calcium is fine but you REALLY need to look into the proper diet. What you are feeding is not going to cut it.

This is a great site! www.greenigsociety.org/foodchart.htm It has helped me understand better what I should be feeding and what to only feed once in awhile. But your iggy needs more variety, and alot more greens and veggies than that. A supplement is not going to replace a good diet.

Another good site to use along with the Green Iguana Society is www.beautifuldragons.com Now keep in mind that this was done on the research for Beardies, so keep in mind that when looking at the chart you will only use the info on the greens and veggies portion of it. What I like about this site is that she also lets you know about the ones you should not feed and why. But agree with the statements that the diet does indeed need to be revamped!!
