Enter the problem of taking website diets at face value. I take serious exception to a couple of those lists! One actually suggests feeding the iguana hay! The other suggests diets packed full of calcium binding foods and ignoring the fact that most of the diet should be leafy greens with just a touch of some of the vegetables they list.

I completely agree with you Mr. Merlin. Specially on that "Hay" which is totally out of this world....I Mostly give my Iggs green any how and other veggies...Alot of the things on those list i dont even understand why they are there but thats why i combine my menus each week being cautious of my choices and plus I watch them and see what there favs are...one thing i have notice is that they are not to fruit krazy...but they love love love greens (specially collards and turnip), squash and a few other veggies....
I Love my Iggies so much and it feels so good when you make them confortable and you can see the change in there eating and attitude its great when you know you are doing something right and that they feel happy...
If you treat them like humans they start acting humans. They have there way of letting you know what they like and dont like...I love that...
