I finally finished Vladimir’s Cage, it’s 6X4X3 Oak and Oak plywood with Plexiglas in the doors. The shelves are old leftover closet shelving with indoor outdoor carpet. The tree limb is from my back yard. I scrubbed it with a wire brush and than twice with bleach and water. The side walls are pegboard for ventilation. Please give me any suggestions; I know I still have improvements to make. Greg Attachments:

Looks pretty good to me.. I would make absolutly sure that you situate your lights so that he can't get at them at all. They do some crazy things sometimes. What is the dish on the second shelf.. Is it his food dish? With the age on this guy I would try and start to potty train him on the floor level by offering a kitty litter pan full of water. They like to potty in this and it sure makes a lot less of a clean up if you can get them to do so.. Have you seen him down on the floor level yet?? Again you are doing good, just keep at it, it is a heck of alot better than that tank you took him out of and I would bet he is thinking the same thing..

Yes I have seen him on the floor, I was intending to put a litter pan at the bottom. The bowl on the second shelf is his water bowl. He sulked all night yesterday after I put him in, but today when I got home he was exploring all over. He even climbs the pegboard. Attachments:

The exterior looks nice, but I think the interior is a bit empty (I don't know if you're planning of adding extra climbing material?). They are realy good climbers. And it is a waste of space if he can't reach every part of the cage. I added a picture of the cage I have (just part of it because I can't get a photo of the total cage, it's to big) .
