What these bumps are. They literally just appeared. I check Titan every day and I'm worried now that saw these. Doe anyone know what they could be? We're gonna be taking him to the vet Monday, but I'm looking for some impute. Attachments:

They look like blisters, but could be abscesses. Are they solid or soft?

They're very soft. Feels like blisters or burns. Put new light on tank due to cold weather, the light had a very focused beam for an incandescent aka non flood light. He sat with the beam in that area. I'm not vet, so any input helps. We think it's a burn.

Unless he could physically touch the bulb I doubt its a burn. Anything else would be a guess.

We took him tonight. The blister ruptured during examination. He took a culture and cleaned up the wound. We have to give him and antibiotic injection every 3 days and cream twice a day. We will find out on Monday the results of the culture. Other than that, his mood or behavior has not changed at all. So he's doing good. Doctor said it's very possible that it was a heat burn.

I hope the treatment works and that it's nothing serious. Glad to hear he isn't affected by the injury.

He's such a good boy. He didn't give the vet any problems at all. He's more docile than my cats haha.

Is there some way that he could come in direct contact with your heating device?

It's been in the 40's down here in South Florida, so we bought what we thought was a night bulb, turned out to be a day time bulb that didn't scatter the heat. We're thinking he fell asleep right under the light as there is a branch that was too close to it. That's the only thing we can think of. The bulb was removed immediately after the blister showed up. The vet said the result for the culture will be in Monday. Hope nothing comes back bad. =/
