hey, i just realised that my iguanas right foot or ankle looks swollen. im not sure if it has been previously broken? we saved him from a pet store that was not properly caring for spike, he was also missing a toe when we got him. im not sure what type of iguana spike is, or the age, or gender. any help here would be greatly appreciated thanks !! You should definately get a vet to take a look at him/her. He/she might be in pain, that does look painful poor little guy. The vet could tell you what kind of iguana it is for you also.

is there a special vet or will any vet take iguanas ? also Spike seems to be walking, running, climbing normaly, i do know that iguanas will do their best to mask the sign of injury as to not seem like an easy meal, but i will look into taking spike to the vet.. does anyone know what the vet bill is like for something like this ? thanks
