Hi, So I just have a quick question about the substrate I use for my Igs. From what I have read so far most everyone is saying that newspaper is really easy and safe to use. Would paper bags be just as good? That is what I have been using for quite some time...got the idea from another website. They seem to work pretty well with absorbing any messes they make while I am at work. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!!!

Hi Snutting! ;D Paper bags will work just as well as any other paper substrate, especially if you regularly have an abundance of them. When your ig gets bigger and you move him or her to a custom-built enclosure, I find that solid sheet linoleum works really well for the bottom. Your ig can also learn to use a litter box...not filled with cat litter of course, but filled about an inch deep with water.
