Hello all I think that you all will get a big kick out of this story.
Last week my grandaughter was over and spent a couple of days with us. Her name is Star and she is 2 years old.
She wanted to pet Miss Zak so I opened Miss Zaks cage and Star pulled up a chair and started to pet her.
When she touched Miss zak Star proudly announced that Miss Zak was "shaving" (shedding) and that she was "squishey". (soft). lol
I thought that that was really cute from a 2 year old.

I LOVE KIDS!! I have a friend who brought his two year old son to visit and see the critters here. We had great fun naming who's that ferret...at the time I had six. He had the knack of picking the same two every time...the DEW (dark-eyed white) and the part blaze named Oddball.
He finally held Oddball one last time and I asked HIM who that one was...and he said in his little two year old voice "O' ball"...and with all the love a little boy has in his heart he looked at Oddball with those big eyes and said "I luv you O'ball" and gave him a gentle kiss right on the top of Oddballs head.
If only I could have frozen that moment. It was priceless.

yea, my neighbor, Megan, is almost 3, and every time I see her she asks to see the "guana." She giggles and pets him. When she has to go home she says, "bye-bye guana. bye-bye kitty." And waves to them both.
She used to just call him "izzard." What's funny is that one day last summer Megan, her mom, and I were taking a walk and came across a 6 inch snake that was dead on the road, and we asked if she wanted it and she said, "no nake, mom, no nake." Silly... no tiny snake, but gimme a 3 foot Iguana! Silly girl!
