Well I now have another iguana. The other day at work a client came in and we were talking about a tatoo I am getting on the 27th. It is an iguana. Anyway she was telling me she had an iguana, so of coarse I had to start asking a ton of questions. Come to find out she has had the iguana for 10 months and knows nothing about them. This is how it was living: 20 gallon tank black light heat rock and food was romaine lettuce. That is it. I started telling her what she needed for it and in the midst of me rambling said "if you can't provide the iguana with all this just bring it here to me!" Well guess what they went right home and before we closed the office for the night, I had myself another iguana. The Dr was still there so she looked it over quick and I guess it is a good thing she is with me now. She is very small and has some signs of MBD.

HI Desiree-
Another poor baby Ig, saved from yet another Ignorant owner!
Good Luck with it, maybe you can find a good home for it soon. It's such a little cutie.

I am not too sure what I am going to do with this little one yet. I want to make sure it is going to be healthy, then I am probably going to post it in our 2 hospitals. Hopefully one of our clients will want him. That way I can also keep a tab on the little thing. I am going to refer to this Little one as a he right now. Easier that way. Little one is eating pretty good. I still can't believe they had him for 10 months. He got his first bath tonight and didn't know what to think of it. I think he liked it. Shedded all the skin on the back over night. Even though he has been here a few days he is starting to get into the routine.

Ursula, you asked about the tattoo. Here is a pic of the ig I am getting on my back. I just want the iguana nothing else. I was hoping to get it done sooner than the 27th, the tattooist and I work the same schedule so it is hard. I am taking that day off to get it done. She is very good and a friend. I am definitely going to want to show this off after I get it. ;D I can't wait !!!!

That's a beautiful Iguana and will make a fantastic Tattoo! I'm so excited for you.
I too am going for another (my third) and it will also be an Iguana. I can hardly wait to sit in pain for over an hour!
Good luck with it. Post a pic when the scabbing stops! LOL
