Well I got my tattoo. ;D It was 1 1/2 hours of pain, but it is worth every miserable minute. The next few weeks while it is healing is going to be fun. LOL What does everything one think?

OH MY GAWD!! That is so awesome!!! Where did you finally find the design? Did they have it at the parlor? I've got to get one. I've been wanting a new one for awhile.
The colors are so brilliant!
You have inspired me Des.

Thanks for all the comments. I do love my new tattoo. It still hurts though. My husband is calling me a wimp. This is the original picture: The pic is from a site that does reptile cards. I have entered my tattoo into the Reptile magazine tattoo photo contest. Would be nice to win. ;D Now don't everyone go nuts and get ig tats. LOL

I'm not one for tatoos, but that is one of only three I have seen and really liked. My nephew has a frog on one side of his chest... one of those colorful poisonous tropical frogs, and it looks really nice because of the colors. I would get one, but my wife doesn't like the idea, and my skin is kinda bad, so it would get damaged anyways. But if I did, it would be a picture of Jesus with a crown of thorns (the kind you sometimes see associated with catholic religious items). Even though I believe the resurection and the overall meaning of his crucifiction should be more of a focus than the crucifiction itself, I would wear the tatoo as a way to pay homage to the suffering he endured for me. Just a way to show that I am mindful of the price he paid. After that, I suppose I would be like everyone else and want another, which would probably be an iguana, or the logo to Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy...

Mark, you're NUTS!!
If I were to get one, it would be an hourglass, sort of tipped on one corner with mystical, colorful swirls around it. It would signify that I should have been dead already, but the Lord has tipped the glass and extended my time.

Well, I won't get one because my hubby doesn't care for them. Go figure... a biker that doesn't like tats!
