Hey, when we got home from work today we had a big scare! Bam-Bam had gotten out of her enclosure and we had no idea where she was. Our hearts just hit the ground! We immediatatly started the search for her. Looking under the furniture and in the closets and everywhere. I just happend to move her enclosure out just to look bejind it and I saw her tail hanging out from under neath it. I hallered out to Jon that I had found her. She was ice cold but no worse for wear! All I could think about was panabear on the GIS who to this day has still not found his baby. I thank god that we found her. We put her back in her enclosure got her wormed back up and fed her and she just looked at us like we had a problem and she couldn't figure out why we were so worried. I think that she totally enjoyed being out on her own. We made sure that this won't happen again. We put a lock on her cage so that little Miss hoodenie cant get out again.

Hi Debbie-
I'm so glad you found her too. I hate it when they pull that crap.
Rex is free-roaming, but usually doesn't venture far from the kitchen.
One summer day I came home and couldn't find him anywhere in the house. Now, he's 50" long, so where could he hide?
Well the entire family searched for about an hour. I was so upset, being reminded of when we lost him outside for a week. I was sitting at the kitchen table having a cigarette and contemplating who I was going to yell at for this and I hear this rustling sound on the kitchen counter.
I look and here's Rex hiding among the loaves of bread and rolls on the corner of the counter. All you could see was his head sticking out. LOL
We got a good laugh over that one. Now we add the kitchen counter to the list of possible hiding places!

Just for the record Pandabearkohl found her Ig, safe and sound.
They were packing to move and while they were taking the cage apart, they spotted her on top of the light fixture!
So all is well in their Ig world again!
She was cold, but otherwise healthy and uninjured.
