You may or may not have read my post converning my iggies head , well my other iggy bit him on the head.
Sinc ethis fight the one who got bit has been fine , no problems with him , he is still a free roamer as he always has been.
However the biter is taking some calming down , erratic behaviour to get out of his cage and he went for me the other day (first time in 10 years). but i do think this was becuase he could smell my other igg on my gloves.
Just been stroking him and he has calmed down a little , but he wud let all hell loose if i let him out.
Will this take time to calm down ?
P.S his teritory was invaded by the other igg , kinda , i introduced the one who got bit in to his cage with him initally , but they were fine for ages , then the sudden turn.
Any pointers ?
Thanks
Dan

Have you considered an illness may be causing this change in behavior? Iguanas are very good at hiding illness/injuries, but if something is causing them enough pain it often comes out in aggressive behavior. This is true for most animals.
Please take him to a vet for a thorough check-up. As old as he is there may be an underlying problem that needs medical intervention.
