An extensive site/book/study all about green iguana behavior in their natural habitat? I'm really interested in the subject and I feel that the more I learn about how they are in the wild, the better I can understand and care for my Dmitra.

"Green Iguana - The Ultimate Owner's Manual" by James Hatfield III goes into the wild side of iguanas some, but there is no real hard publications on green iguanas in the wild that I'm aware of. There are a few publications that might have an article on green igs in the wild, but they're by no means very extensive. I'll keep my eyes open and breeze through some of the things I have to see if there's any extra references.

I've seen some cool stuff on Discovery but its all about Galapagos land/marine iggys..I would be way stoked to see a documentary on green igs ..or maybe there is one ?? I'll be checking as well as it's an interest we share.

I would go with Hatfields book. It has a lot of information. Any sort of feild work that you could find would be very dry reading! After all there is no way that we can recreate a totally wild type habitat anyway.

I know, but it would be interesting to learn more about their natural behavior and social lives- for example, there should be a "headbob dictionary" ;D

There kind of is...:-) I'm pretty sure Henry Lizardlover has a guide and I know Steve Woodward does: www.iguanaanswers.co.uk/Check out the behavior vids. They may be there.
