(Wow I used alot of slashes in that question! Haha..)

We usually just grate them fairly fine and mix with the rest of his salad. Of course peeled and de-seeded first.

I either run it thru a food processor for large amounts or if only doing small amounts I use a cheese grater. I remove seeds but don't worry about peeling them. I just pile it on top of her greens.

food processor set to grate. Spread on the salad, then watch Iggi throw all the greens around to pick out every piece of butternut. He will eat his green, but only after all the squash is gone.

Squash peel has a lot of vitamins in it. I leave them on, too. Food processors have become my best friend when it comes to making ig food. Set it to grate, open the stopper and shoot it into the sink! Some before and after looks to the foods processed for the salad. prismwolf.fotopic.net/c753945.html
