My greens tend to last long anyway. I have a huge tupperware container and I jsut take like 5-7 papertowels and soak them in water and plae on on the bottom than the greens than more wet towels ontop, so there guarantreed to stay moist until its tiem for feeding

Mine doesn't !!! When we moved we got a smaller fridge so there's not a whole lotta room. I bought one of those things that is supposed to keep greens fresh and that helped, but turnip and dandelion usually don't last more than 4 days if I'm lucky..When Tiki's big I wo't have to worry about that anymore!

Well here in the states they sale in three different ways, turnip only, green only, and turnips and greens together. If you have something like a farmers maket try them usually they will have them. also try arround some produce stands. what else do you feed besides just escarole.

Around here, you can also usually make arrangements with the produce manager to get them. Many times, the greens aren't removed from the turnip until its been unloaded at the market.

Also i have been doing this..If the greens are not good quality at the shelf just tell the kid (in my case its a young guy) that you need more greens for you iguana. He was interested as he see's me in their alot so when i asked him for better quality greens of certain types and told him i own a rather large iguana (ok i lied and said Yoda is 6ft and 10lbs which in reality hes just over 3 and 2lbs) he was more than happy to get me what i needed. Now i just say hey you guys got any collards, dendelion etc...And he brings out the boxes of certain greens and i pick out what i like.

You have a pretty good selection for a minimum diet. Parsnips, watercress, rocket and the rest are all very good! If you add a squash or two and sweet pepper (bell pepper here) then you would have a really well rounded diet...:-)
