the tea bags for alfalfa are a good idea. But I've found a cheaper version. If you live near any whole-foods or organic super markets, they usually have a herb section where you can bag your own herbs. They have dried alfalfa leaves. A baggie with a week's worth of alfalfa sprinkles costs around 75 cents. The bottle/container lists the base price as something like 10 dollars a pound, but since the dried leaves are very light, you can get enough to last you a while without much weight. If you feel like pampering your Iggy, I also suggest the dried hybiscus, rose petals and dandilion flowers that are also found in the herb section. You can make a real iguana tea!

Great tips Elimm! For those with access to those markets it's a great option. Thanks for sharing...:-)

I think I will just stick with rabbit pellets. Much cheaper!

As opposed to $3 Amer. dollars for a couple of lbs. of pellets. Actually...I just spent $11 on a 20lb. bag of show quality rabbit pellets for the bunny who was surrendered last week.
