Before i got my igg he was fed only a diet of spring cabbage but i have read in a book that cabbage is bad for them as it causes crystals in the kidneys is that true or are they safe... he has a variety of other food but i have not fed cabbage to him since... please clarify for me people x

Cabbage is an ok every once in a while food in small quantities but should not constitute a main part of the diet. However it will do just fine without it. I never use it.

I don't use cabbages either. They are high in goitrogens which bind iodine. Iodine is important for proper thyroid function... .
