Are we supposed to maintain a thermal gradient at night? I keep reading about night time heating items, and I am confused.
I thought low 70's was an ok temp. for overnite, and Kyo's sleep spot stays at the 72 degree range once we turn out the lights.
Am I doing something wrong?

Cyndi, Willie sleeps at about the same temp. I'd like to get the temp up to high 70's with a CHE. I don't know if it's necessary though

The 70's will be fine. The floor of Zoks enclosure is about 75 degrees constant and there are some nights she choses to sleep there.

Thanks to both of you. I thought that that temp was ok. Kyo doesn't seem to be too cold. He's usually up and about before the lights come on, but he does head immediately to his basking spot. Should I offer a warmer spot to see what he does?

I've decided not to warm up the cool end of Will's enclosure, based on what Merlin said. Kyo sounds so active and like so much fun. Willie is a sleepyhead in the morning. I guess it's just up to you about the temp. Sounds just right to me.

It's best to keep the temps in the mid to low 70's. Igs need the cooler temps to allow their bodies to rest...
