store.yahoo.com/healthypetscom/zmenoinhela.htmlThis site said that the night light gives little to no light but the light is tinted red. I dont get it, the only reason why I can think of for the light being red is that it really does give out light. Any one know about this light?

Iguanas prefer dark. Really no reason for a "red" bulb.
You can provide nighttime heat with a CHE or MegaHeat.

Technically, they can't see Infa-red lights. But its better off getting a ceramic heater, the Infa-red I had stayed at 300 degrees F but only lasted about, 2 weeks. My ceramic heater is a different story though, with a some kind of thermostat, be it Rheostat or a Thermostat would most likely be needed.

Yup...if you can see it, so can your ig. This light would be great for providing day-time, direct IR heat to your ig, but there is nothing "nocturnal" about something that gives off visible light. Best to stay with a CHE or MegaHeat like Dom suggested. ANY visible light at night will gradually make your ig weirder and weirder...don't forget the parietal eye. Besides...as long as your own habitat is 70 degrees F or above at night, there's really no need for night-time heat anyway.
