(or urine i think.) everything else is normal...eating...activeity... mood.... sheadding....extra.. what is wrong? his diet has been turnip greens (88%)with carrot and a piece or two of corn.... he has had grape as a treat as well as dandilion but tahts the only thing different.....

Hmmm...not sure what's going on there, but it sounds like Jolee is dehydrated. You should probably ditch the carrots and the corn, especially the corn...I think corn is difficult for any animal's digestive system to deal with. Try a larger variety of greens and soak them in water. There should be a fairly good puddle in the bottom of the food bowl or plate. Try grinding up in a food processor, or grating, different varieties of squash and maybe just a small amount of green beans to mix in with the greens. Maybe a little force-feeding of some type of human sports drink in a small amount will help. What type works best, I don't know, but I know that others here have done this, so they should know. Also, just make sure your habitat humidity is up and give Jolee regular soakings in the tub. If things don't change soon, but probably even now, you should take Jolee to the vet...just to be on the safe side. Besides, the vet can do a good emergency hydration and give you more suggestions on keeping Jolee hydrated. Hope this helps. ;D

Dehydration was the first thing that comes to my mind as well. You might try giving treats of various melons and papaya. This will up the moisture intake. If he will take bread you can also soak the bread in water prior to feeding. You can also try to get him to take water from a spray bottle by squirting a small stream on his nose and when he starts to lick it off (if he will) time the squirts to when he opens his mouth. When Zok is gravid and off food she will drink this way.

When I needed to rehydrate Willie I did a combination of the above. I flavored Willie's water with pediolyte ( really too wastful and expensive) and Gatorade. This is a good because it will color Jolee's nose when she drinks. That way, you'll know she's getting some. As Iguanaking mentions, have a puddle of water in the plate she eats from..I spray Willie's food with filtered water and that works fine for us. Merlin mentions melons. I had great success with Watermelon. I pour the juice over his greens and squish up one piece over his food. And dripping water( flavored with watermelon juice or gatorade )down her nose, drop by drop, until she begins to lap it up, worked real well for Willie.. But tell me....when you say urates, do you mean the white stuff or the urine. If you are getting any 'white stuff' what color is it? Good luck

meanwhile his is happy and active.... drinking without to much hassle and his humiddity is ranging from 55-70%.

OK...sounds like some progress. You're not still feeding Jolee corn, right? It'll take a while for it all to pass through his/her system.

Try breaking up jolee's food in smaller pieces. It worked for Will when he was having trouble passing the entire poop. And he'll get more nutrition from the smaller pieces. Good luck!
