Angus hasnt been eating or pooping much for the past week and a half. I figured it was normal because of breeding season and weather change. Today he has been wondering around the house. well just maybe 15 minutes ago he was sitting on the back of our couch staring at me and my husband gaping (I just happened to look over and see him). He seemed like he was in a trance. So I picked him up and it startled him a little and he closed his mouth ut then started gaping again. So I misted him thinking maybe he needed a drink. And my Hubby has him in the tub now. I dont think he could have been over heated he hasnt been under his basking spot in about an hour. It may be nothing but if I notice anything else strange I'll do an update.

Jennifer, when Angus is gaping, have you looked into his mouth to check the color? If its nice and pink in there, hopefully it'll pass. But if its pale, almost light tan in color, there's a serious problem. I don't want to alarm you unnecessarily though, just want to make sure you're aware of that possibility. Good luck.

His mouth is nice and pink, he has been acting normal since. He ate some food and drank some water out of the spray bottle, so maybe he just need some food and water. I have another theory though, could he have been trying to loosen up his skin to shed? Because I just caught him frogeyed rubbing his eyeballs across the wall. It was hilarious!!!!!!!! Boy it must have felt good all frog eyed!!!!!! Im still keeping an eye on him though because he really freaked me out earlier.
