The inside of his mouth looks fine.. i think it just might be a clump of wet calcium powder that got stuck to him. i put him in his water and i went away...

That's kind of what it looks like to me, too. For that much calcium (if this is what it is) to be stuck to the lip like that suggests you may be giving him too much. How do you give it and how often?

i just sprinkle a little on the food. Like a small pinch. Tweak may have crawled over the food causing it to fall down and collect and probibly got stuck when he went for some food near it... Tweak will eat now but not much looks like hes starting to settle in now... Doesnt run when i approch the cage anymore... lol wont eat unless he cant see me. but my computer (where i am all day) is out of sight so. But i dont give to much calcium. Just a tiny bit every day... So sould i give tweak more but not every day or should i just do little bit a day?

I can't dust mine on the top, if I do the little one won't even touch the food. I dust it on the veggies right after i chop them, then with my fingers mix it in real good, then mix those veggies in with the greens. She will eat what she is going to eat then. My Vet told me beings she was little that I should do the supplements at least 3 times a week untill she hits her first breeding season, so that is what I have been doing. Now for my adult female, if she can even smell that stuff she won't eat. I have to put it in a cut out grape and then put the cutout peice back on top then set that right on top of the salad and it is gone. She likes her grapes and that is the only time that she gets it. Once a month, but then she is 7. This breeding season, she got it once a week.

For the first year just a little pinch everyday. It's good he eats it on his own. I'm lucky with my guys that way, too. I have 5 lizards (only one ig) that eat well with the calcium lightly dusted on their food.

Thanks V, I will up the dose for the baby. My vet is one of 2 exotics in my area and I am not sure that she knows everything she should about Iguana's. I think her specialty is birds.
