What a sweet guy he is. Why your iggy s have so much black colour.Is that a different kind of green iguanas?Sorry for stupid question.My baby dont have anything black on him.(but he is still gorgeus ))

Nope, he is a the typical green iguana. Those are his markings. It isn't uncommon for iguanas to have varying patterns like Phantoms.

Yes, he is dramatic. He's in a class by himself. Although, Debbie's Iggy displays the same dark bands and dewlap. I just love that!
Phantom is truly a "show" Ig. All you can do is just look at him. Ghost rescued Phantom from a previous owner. Phantom, according to Ghost, is downright vicious. So much so that Ghost, an experienced Iguana handler and rescuer, is barely able to hold him.
For whatever reason, Phantom is one of those males that never tames. It's unfortunate, but once in a while a male Ig will remain very aggressive and be un-handleable for life, as in Phantom's case.
He's so fortunate to have an owner like Ghost, who truly cares about Iguanas. I fear most others would give up on him.
I love to see his pics. He's a big, colorful, mean male Iguana. And he constantly reminds me how fortunate we are to have Igs that "tolerate" our handling.
