Herbie makes me laugh.. Such a tough look doesn't go with her languid body posture. They are all such characters!

I just sewed a triangle to fit the cage, and sewed a metal ring to each of the 3 corners.

Well, since I am generally of the opinion that the only real use for a needle is getting out splinters ;D.....I'm sure you'll do just fine making a hammock one tip: I started with a square, folded it in half, sewed it like a pillow then turned it right side out so there wouldn't be any frayed edges sticking out that might catch little toes.

Oh shes pretty! Really mottled markings. I was thinking of the hooks and rings idea for our next hammock, Don loves his but when we got our snake he decided he was gna poo on it, so we had to make a new one, but its not as good. I dont sew and its not been hemmed, but his last one was. Are the triangular ones better, Ive never thought of making one that shape, but I know the ones you can buy are? Dons are always made from strips of material or old pillow cases.

Herbie is adorable and growing so nicely. I love the hammock. I wish I had space to do something like that for Rex, but at his size I don't know if that's possible.
Keep up the good work with Herbie, and Boomer and Thrasher and Mr. Waggles. I hope I didn't forget anyone?!? LOL
