Each ig's overall health, diet, habitat, level of care, UVB intake etc must be evaluated individually in order to make a determination as to the level of calcium that needs to be provided. A person would need to establish a large number of igs (a control group and a test group) that were all in comparable health, all recieving the exact same care prior to the study, and all having regular bloodwork done for an extended period of time etc etc in order to determine what IS the best way to supplement. Until I see scientific data, I refuse to believe that there IS a standard.
