My orange boy.

Neelix is in mating season.

Hes now bright orange rather than brownish orange.

This morning he started to wonder around the house. He refused to eat more than just a few pieces of callard before wondering around the house again.

I was "wtf" man, the hell are you doing?

I put him in the tub, started running the water, he walked to the water himself and let it go, rather than wait for the water to hit him, which was odd. His poo was loose and it had a lot of semen in it.

I took him out of the tub and he attempted to climb me. I put him back in his spot by the window, and he left the spot to attempt to walk around the house again. It always seemed as though he was walking to a certain location. Then I figured it out,

My boyfriend hid his sock.

So I put the sock in his little area and placed him back as well. He walked right onto the sock and clucked a few times. I left the room to give him some privacy.

My man knows his priorities.

LOL...very funny! Typical breeding season behavior for sure. I would love to see some pics of his orangeness...:-)

LOL! ;D That was a lucky sequence of events actually. It was a good thing that one of the first things you tried was to give him a bath so he could poop. Iguanas, especially male iguanas, will sometimes show their frustration over not getting what they want by pooping in the area that is making them angry. Herc has done that outside his room a couple of times because he wanted to be in there, but I wouldn't open the door for him.
