Hey all! about a month ago i told you guys about my plans of getting an Ig and yesteday I got it! I was at the "Terriaristika" in Hamm, Germany and I had made arrangements up front with a german boy who had an Ig he wanted to sell. It had been rescued by him about 3 month ago and got it from someone who didnt want it anymore. The ig is about 11 month old and appoximately 60 cm long from the tip of its nose to the end of the tail. Its very brightly green and seems to be in good shape! Ive decidet to call him (I think its a male) MOCCA,I have no idear why:0) Yesteday when we got home he was very currious. He climbed around in the entire cage and he even took two bites from his food and made a p**p :0) He climbed up in some branches and when i went to bed last night and turned off the lights he was still sitting there...when i woke up this morning he was still sitting there and when i came home this afternoon he was STILL sitting right there were i left him last night... I guess he is gonna come down when he feels like it, but its kinda strange:0) Im gonna give him a few days to settle in before Im gonna handle him...that would be a good idear, right? ? Would you please take a look at this Webshots album and tell me what you think? community.webshots.com/user/anneveng**Anne**

Congrats on your new baby. It is GORGEOUS! If I remember right you were doing your homework first before getting one...so you should know what temps should be (33C - 35C basking, 21C cool end and night, 29C ambient), UVB and diet. In some countries there tends to be a language thing and the items you need for a healthy salad. I've done several diet translations and German was one of them... ;D : Collard Greens – Kohlgrüns Mustard Greens - Senfgrüns Turnip Greens - Rübegrüns Watercress - Brunnenkresse Green Beans - grüne Bohne Escarole - Winterendivie Summer Squash (shredded) – Sommerkürbis (zerrissen) Acorn squash (shredded) – Eichelkürbis (zerrissen) Grapes - Trauben Handling...I go by the rule of "if it's eating, it's stress-free enough to hold". I would start handling now...about 20 mins a day at the very least. Glad you found one that was rescued...

I just have to say................ German is NOT the same as danish....hihii... not even by far:0)... But i get your point... I have done some extensive reading BUT there is much to be said for talking to actual people with experience, so im glad that you guys are there to guide me!
He lives in a HUGE cage my friends and I build and this afternoon when i got home he had mooved..... to another branch:0)... but thats progress....hihihi

Well...I tried...lol. I guess I need not give this list then. Dandelions are a wonderful food though. They truly are rated as one of the best greens to feed...
