Im Kristin and I own 2 Iggys. Baby Girl and Spike. Baby girl is my recent adoptee. She is a 10 yr old female Iguana and absolutely gorgious. Spike is a 14 yr old male and he is an awesome guy to. He was a class room pet at one time and now I got a wonderful free roaming iguana. I do school presentations also and am forming a rescue in Western Michigan. I have been involved in Iguana care for 17 or more years. I use to be a vets assistant and learned quite a bit from my reptile vet in diagnosing problems they have as well as proper diet. I do endorse going to vets for wellness checks once per year and please do check out how much experience your vet does have in reptile care. I just wont take my guys to just any vet I take mine to a vet who has had many many years of reptile care and does the local John Ball Park zoo reptiles and wild life.

Why Thanks for the warm welcomeing. Sorry I havent been here in a while but we have had 6 new rescues enter into our lives. Jr. is a little male iggy who is 4 months old and was a carnival prize, They poppped a ballon for him. Dr. Greenie is a iguana I pulle dout of a 2ft by 3 ft box. Lamont his brother is successfully placed and is happy in his new home. then we have other reptiles that have been dumped at our door. We are now michigna non profit status and working on getting 501C3 status. that is going to take 500 big ones. Again Thanks for the warm welcome and I look forward to posting frequesntly when I have time and seeing alot of good posts.

I'm a little late, but I'd like to welcome you, too. I'll be looking forward to your posts and pic. When you get time, I'd love to know what the expensive, new status is. GOOD LUCK!
