hi guys,
i havn't been on here in a long time i tend to post when i need help and I'm not a pro and don't want to give out advice.
i have a boy iggy called Calibur i posted years ago when he had a lump on his toe, which is still there but it's fine according to the vet. it never go he will just grow and it will seem smaller.
anyway Calibur came out last night for his evening wonder around my room (its safe for him)
he normal attacks the mirror for abit then sits on the bed and jumps on the freezer i have in my room and just does laps of this until his light turns off then he puts his self to bed.
i never leave him he's always watched by me or my girlfriend.
so i know he is safe.
but after two failed a temps to jump on my freezer i got a little worried and i noticed he was not sit on his right back leg at all so i rang the the vet and took him in lucky i have a really good specialist vet close to me.
the vet checked him or over and took some x-rays but all seemed fine he gave me a 5 day course of "METACAM ORAL" to give him told me to remove his logs and shelfs and keep him in for aweek then to bring him back if he's no better or he may need to splint his leg to his tail.
i was just wondering if any one has had a case of this in the past?
I'm guessing he landed funny and banged or twisted it?
or caught it some where and try-ed to pull away to hard.
i really love and look after Calibur i do every think to keep him safe i guess this just happens from time to time.
also the vet said he was very small for his age and even called him a girl after changing me and my girlfriend £95 call out charge lol!!
he seems fine to day just feeling sorry for himself hes eating and doesn't seem stressed.
i will try and post so pics up to see if you guys can tell if hes a boy?
he's alittle over 1ft STV i would say. i think hes around 4 and half but can't be sure as hes had a previous owner before me.
