I was cleaning up today after a few other things, and discovered I still have a couple bags of store bought iguana food. Is there any actual value to it as maybe something to sprinkle on spikes food, or is everyone better off if I just use it as fish food (african cichlids love it)

It depends on the brand. Some of it is not very heatlhy. The exception seems to be RepCal brand. Many of us use it soaked in water as a salad topper. I wouldn't use any prepared food as the sole diet.

Yup...RepCal is the only brand I would suggest. If the cichlids like it...then let their little fishy bellies have at it.
