I just got my first iguana bite! I've had him 4 years and this is the first time. We were outside and i guess I caught him by surprise and he bite my hand, between the thumb and the wrist. I wonder if I was tasty to him

The great outdoors tends to put a little of the "wild" back into a lot of igs anyway. Glad you're not posting how you just came back from the ER over it!!

its not that bad. he was only attached for a couple seconds. knee jerk reaction i pulled away so it scraped a few inches and he got to hang from my hand.

That is the truth!! I've been hammering that into my head for many years and have done very well listening to me...now. Don't pull away...the damage is much more severe...especially in hard bites.

Welcome to the bitten club...I'm definitely with Prism in that the sun brings something out in them that usually isn't very active. I've been getting the stink eye and charges a lot more lately since I have him out almost every day for an hour or two...He's getting crazy but still won't do it except once in a while to the hubby. lol
