Here's some images of the leg and him in his 1-level enviroment at the moment. He's restricted to not climbing! --------------------------------------------------- Warning!!!! Graphic cut off infection + skin below. WEAK stomachs do not look!!! ------------------------------------------------------ So sorry it's blurry. I was not able to pick up the Iguana due to work. My boyfriend picked him up and his cell takes awful photos!

Oh by the way... he will NEVER have poors on that stitched leg again not in the area which the vet surgerically removed them for good so they wouldn't ever get infected again from dragging. We have no idea how they ever got infected when he's not allowed to free roam without supervision and he normally shoots right for the window and doesn't go anywhere else. But it's all said and done.

Oh yes. He's back to climbing, the wound is healing very well. He's eating like a horse and has given us a giant poop after the surgery. He wouldn't go cause he knew he's not allowed to go on the top level so he waited so he could go on the bottom level. What a sweet guy!

That was a HUGE chunk of infection!! Too bad it wasn't a little clearer. What a great piece...in a bad way, of course...:-(
Infection can happen as simple as dragging it wrong on his shelf and pulling a partial plug loose. Their easy to miss until the pore gets angry. Poor baby. He'll be right as rain in no time though.

Finally a month later just about. All of the stitches are removed. All 10 of them. eki is doing great. He's not back on a normal pooping schedule. It's about once a week at this rate but getting better to about 2x's a week. The vet thinks it's a reaction to the med's he was on. Since he's eating like a horse, shedding, fiesty and normal the vet isn't worried yet. But Eki is back to normal. We've been going through a giant full body shed and he's looking handsome as always!
