Welcome to IZ. Is there anything toxic your Ig could have eaten, including plants? Have you sprayed any aresol products around your Ig? Or maybe eaten a piece of stem that was too big? Is there any excessive mucus in the mouth? Sneezing other than the normal snalting? Are there any other symptoms, like a change of color in the mouth. I had an incident where my son sprayed an excessive amount of deodorant in the room one of my Igs was in and he started coughing which didnt last more than an hour after I removed him from the room. Anything you can think of that is abnormal for your Ig please let us know because this could be very serious especially if he ingested something toxic.

Can you find out if your Ig was exsposed to clorox or pine sol today? The fumes may very well have caused the coughing. any chance your ig could have ingested any of the chemicals?

Name the foods you feed your ig. Many you have listed aren't that great. If we know what you do feed we can better help get him on track with some better choices...:-)

Please read the diet section, the diet you are feeding is very unhealthy. Alot of people think you can feed them just any old veggie or plant but this is not true, I even made that mistake when I first started out. This link will tell you why you must feed some veggies and not others tesa.proboards24.com/index.cgi?board=diet&action=display&thread=1321But I strongly advise you to read everything in the diet section. The more research you do the better your Ig will live.

You need a vet, it is sounding like an upper respritory infection. Do not wait, make an appoinment now. Can you tell us about your enclosure? Size, heat, lighting, temps, substrate?
