www.flickr.com/photos/74649926@N08/6716985819/It's hard to tell from the picture if that spot is a burn or if he/she is just shedding but iguana's are not supposed to be that dark in color so I think it is a burn. I would suggest moving that heat lamp father away ASAP and putting a thermometer in the tank. Try to have the basking spot be in the low 90s (Fahrenheit). I'm not sure how big of a tank you have for now but try to have the basking spot on one end and a cooler spot at the other end so he/she can escape the heat (but no cooler than 70 degrees). I realized you also have bark in the tank; though it may seem to big for your iguana to swallow now, it's best to take the bark out. Iguanas flick their tongues to smell/taste their environment and they can end up eating things they shouldn't which can be a big health hazard. I have heard of iguanas eating things from coins to plastic bags. I would suggest to bring the little guy to a vet, perhaps you could get some ointment to put on it. be sure to give us an update on how he is doing later. -Jenna

Hey i put a thermometer and its on 77 degrees ( both lamps are switched on) and in the morning today some area on its head turned white and it seems to changing skin.... So propably he is shedding and he is not burnt right... Since the temperature is lower than 90!

So if the temp has been a constant 77 all along without any adjustments then yes that is just shedding and his color is dark because of the constant low temp. In this case you just need to move the heat lamp closer until the basking spot is in the low-mid 90s.
