i have a small problem, my igg only seems to poo when i let him out of his habitat i.e. on my sofa, carpet or me, he does it as soon as i let him out, never seems to poo in his tank though. anyone know why he is doing that and how i can stop it.

Try tub training him, give him a bath as soon as you take him out of of the enclosure then after he does his bussiness you can let him explore without the mess.

Absolutely! This is the perfect opportunity for you to tub train him. This beats cleaning out a cage any day! Just fill the tub with water 95-100 degrees - just a few inches to start - let him do his business an then rinse it down, refill, and let him soak for about 20 minutes or so.

yeah i have a dish of water in his warm side of the tank and he only seems to poo there, but i thought he would be too cold to run around after giving him a bath.
