Some igs just go off their feed for a little while. Usually it's no big deal. There are some answers that could give us some clues, though. - What is your source of UVB?
- What are your temps (basking and cool)?
- How big is your ig (svl/stl)?
- How old is Onyx?
- Has Onyx been to a vet and checked for internal parasites?
- Have you ever provided probiotics in the diet?

Your low temp is a little low for day-time, it should be in the low 80's. Mid-70's at night is fine, but during the day it should be higher. The high temp is about 10 degrees too low. How far away from your Iguana Light is the basking platform?

Probiotics are used to add the microflora back into the digestive system. This microflora is what helps break down and digest foods in the small intestine. It's essential to iguanas (and all animals...including us) for a healthy digestive system. I use it for a regular maintenance program. There are three used for reptiles: - NutriBac - Made specifically for herps. You can get this online at www.reptileuv.com
- Benebac - Most pet stores carry this for birds, but it's been approved for reptiles.
- NatureZone - Also for herps from www.bigappleherp.com
The temps definitely need to come up...:-) This will also help with diet intake and digestion. Without the high temps your igs cannot properly digest their food which means they cannot glean the nutrients out of it either. Good temps are needed for other body functions, as well.

about 18 inches( I think but I can measure if you like) You'll need to reduce that distance to 6". In your igs' cages, I noticed you have mechanical thermometers in the pics. You should think about buying some digital thermometers, and maybe even a no-contact temp gun along with those. The temp gun will allow you to check the igs' body temperatures, which can sometimes be higher or lower than the air temperature. They need bigger habitats too, but I see in that thread that you are already taking care of that. ;D Just keep in mind that height is going to be the most important dimension, so go as tall as you can. About the Probiotics, Nature Zone makes a whole line of reptile supplements, so make sure the bottle specifically says "Nature Zone Essential Probiotics" on its label.

Ok, I will switch over to digital thermometer in two weeks that is when I get paid. I know they need the height that is why my cages are 7ft tall and 4ft wide. I will make sure I am using that Nature Zone product. Thanks and I hope this will help her!

That's definitely a good habitat size, just as long as they get to come out and play every day. It just suddenly hit me...can Onyx see any of the other iguanas from her habitat? If she can, there is also a possibility that one of the others is stressing her out with body language. But, give the other suggestions a try before you go to that step.
