Ok hi...sorry for the lack of updates on George...the ice storm did a doozy on our electric and I was afraid my house was going to get too cold for George...which it did...that i resorted to sneaking him into a hotel...MWAHAHAHA!!!...needless to say..he was on his best behavior and we didnt get caught....the lump on shoulder went away... ..im still not sure what it was though..so yeah....anyways..to the subject now..
George has been staying at my parents house since I've been away at college..my first year I wasnt allowed to bring him to the dorms and I just moved into a house over the summer and worked last semester to get him a proper home so I can bring him here with me...I came back after all the ice storm drama and brought goerge with me and I didnt even think about the water...at home we live in the middle of nowhere and we have well water which is pretty pure..but here..in the city...there's cholorine in the tap water....so...after about an hour of being here and watching george to make sure he was all comfy in his new home it dawned on me...He probably wont drink the tap water...so i took the water out and put some drinking water into his bowl and mixed a little bit of the tap water in with it to gradually get him used to the tap water..and then it dawned me again..maybe he shouldnt be drinking the tap water at all...sooo..after this extremely long explantion my question would be....Should I just continue to give him water only from the gallon jug of drinking water...or is it ok for me to gradually get him to drink the tap water....which sounds kind of gross...I've been here for about a week now and his bathroom sessions are all normal and he still urinated a lot, which is good, so I know he's been drinking the water..I just wanted to know if the tap water would be bad for him...cuz i imagine it would be...anyways..I'll let you people go..thanks for taking the time to read this and thank you for any advice that you have...oh yeah...as soon as i figure out how to shrink the pictures of george so they arnt as blurry I'll have some pictures up! thanks again!
